Job Description
-Detailed review of Management Accounts and supporting Schedules required by Executive Management.
-Coordinates with Financial Accounting to reconcile management accounts with General Ledger.
-Review/approve periodic update of AVGBS report for any new GLs introduced.
-Coordinate with System Accounting for development of new reports or automation of existing reports..
-Participate for any new system and process implementation and verify test reports.
-Ensures all spreadsheets modules are updated and reflect latest organizational structure.
-Supervises and reviews work of subordinates to ensure accuracy.
-Corresponds with various departments to seek clarification on unusual variances/ anomalies.
-Applies rationality checks to budget input received from Divisions/Departments and probes for major deviations and justifications as such.
-Reviews and analyses the consolidated Bank wide budget related to Non Interest Income and Expenses. Consolidates the Capital Expenditure Budget at Bank wide level.
-Prepares Budget Presentation for Board approval and submission to Central Bank Budget.
-Detailed review of investment model at month end and verify the adjustment entries during month end closing.
-Detailed review of ALCO reports, capital adequacy return, market shares and cost of fund reports.
-Detailed review of all regulatory reports and its reconciliation with GL/financial statement.
-Coach, mentor and train new staff, interns and trainees in FP&C.
-Liaise with auditors (internal/external) for required review and response.
-Undertake any ad-hoc request made by other division, Executive Manager, AGM and GM.

-Understanding of performance management ,processes by all users
-Clear dashboards, templates etc
